I designed branding, print collateral, and swag for the 2022 Iowa League of Cities annual conference. The conference celebrates community and working together to overcome challenges. Their slogan for 2022 was "Building Connections," and their visual theme was rock n' roll.
Communities are strongest when people from different backgrounds work together to succeed. I wanted the event logo to communicate this, so it includes four rock icons from different bands: The Beatles, Queen, KISS, and Guns n’ Roses. The character heads are the "rock on" hand gesture, a symbol of unity among fans at concerts.
