This poster explores the tension between the beauty industry and its sometimes dark underbelly.
I researched Heinz Edelmann's Yellow Submarine movie as design inspiration. To create high contrast and maintain his audience's attention, Edelmann frequently changes his art style throughout the film. I tried a similar approach to create contrast between the subtle animal assembly line and the exaggerated beauty gods.
The final poster printed at 6x12 feet.
